this is b/c it boosts 3 powerful stats at once and as such you simultaneously accumulate speed and power for sweeping potential and gain spdef boosts for snowballing power, esp if you have recovery options Smth important to consider here is how quiver dance intrinsically lets users with naturally strong bsts play around with investment and bulk to check/setup against specific checks and win the 1v1 in the long run. How do you think this would affect the meta? Any Pokemon here that might become viable in OU or Ubers with these setup moves? Both Meloettas (Meloetta is based on flamenco dancers) Ludicolo line (Ludicolo is based on Mexican dancing) Hitmontop (Hitmontop is based on capoeira - Brazilian martial arts dancing) Primarina line (Pokedex talks about her dancing and singing) Maractus (Dances as a defense mechanism) Altaria line (Pokedex talks about her dancing in the sky) Both Lilligants (They dance all the time so I might as well give them DD) Roserade line (Roserade is based on masquerade balls) Gardevoir/Gallade lines (Kirlia is based on ballet) With that in mind, I came up with this list of Pokemon to recieve these moves. The descriptions of these moves don't necessarily restrict non-dragons or non-bugs from learning these moves, given they really only describle these moves as "mystic dances", something that a lot of Pokemon could pull off. So, I figured it would be cool to see what would happen if every Pokemon associated with dancing could learn these dancing moves. Although I understand why only certain Pokemon get these moves, I wanted to see if I could spread them a little further. I thought about Quiver Dance and Dragon Dance, and how even though they are such great set-up moves, they're only distributed to so many Pokemon. I started drawing and after the concept sketch, I decided "Ok, let me draw her legs and I'll draw the skirt on top." I'd done that in a lot of drawings where I just draw everything separately and just erase what wouldn't be visible.Īs I was drawing, though, I actually really liked how she looked without the skirt at all! I became interested in this idea of dropping the skirt entirely, and originally, that would've been a crazy idea until I actually saw it as I drew it! So that was my hook for this drawing. The other night I had a bit of a weird shower thought about Theorymon that's really stuck with me ever since. But I wanted to put more emphasis on the dancing pose!Īs for when I actually got into the drawing, here's the interesting thing. I don't think it's even known if it has legs. That said, Lilligant's actual body is kind of weird. I mean, look at it! It's up there with Gardevoir and Lopunny in my opinion for super easily sexualized Pokémon (as is obvious by its inclusion in the TOP 3). It was one of the first Gen V Pokémon I ever used (being a part of my team in the original playthrough I did of White version, before the game even came out here in America- I played it in Japanese). Quiver Dance! It's such an important move, and it's a pretty big one for Lilligant.Īs for this Pokémon, I love it. So, I decided pretty easily what move to base Lilligant's drawing on. Upon making the list, I thought to myself that I wanted to look up porn of every Pokémon, but some of them didn't have the best results. It was a balance between what I personally liked and what I thought had sexy potential, rather than being just attractive. In 2016, born of an urge to make more lists with The Cave of Dragonflies' Favorite Pokémon Picker, and share them with friends, I made a list of the Top 30 Sexiest Pokémon.
